The secret to a happy life is different for all of us. The key I find is not to keep that secret from yourself. Make sure to reinforce your desires and aspirations regularly, even when you’re going about your daily life.
This way your ‘plan of action’, as in what you want your life to look like, is always in the motion of doing. The only thing holding such a person back might be the imagination behind the original intention. Whatever the case, altering plans half way through will always be infinitely easier than starting from scratch.
It is fair to say, we all have a number of ideals that we hold true, pretty much at all times. These pillars of belief lead us to be in harmony with our instincts. So, if you’re feeling out of sync with yourself, in any way, then chances are you are not being true to yourself and as such your routine needs updating.
Absolutely everything we do either aids or hinders us further down the road in life. Keeping this inherent connectivity in mind serves to remind us that all steps, no matter how small they may be, always contribute to the bigger picture. Whatever you vision consists of in January and beyond, please, make it so.
The basic blueprint,
Is to make improvements,
Not arrange excuses,
Until the fateful noose is,
Placed on with a loose grip,
In a way that proves this,
Game is useless,
Shush! It’s not a game,
It’s a movement,
Fuelled by constant change,
Now chop the chains,
And let’s do this...

It must said, even though your immediate surroundings clearly influence your sense of freedom, the ultimate key to feeling free is found in the mind. Some feel it more than others while tragically many never feel it at all.
Clearly, one of the optimum sensations in the world, everyone should always aim to feel free. Be it physically or mentally, the energy and aura of that relaxed state permeates through your being and ultimately gets shared with the rest of us via your personality.
To be at ease in any given moment is to be free of excessive stress. The stress we carry with us from the past is like undigested glass. We’re not going to get anything from that energy, it’s only going to tear us up inside so we must simply let it go.
The real truth be,
If you’re thinking,
You’re sinking inwards,
You’re being too deep,
You probably need to sleep,
Cos at the end of the week,
It’s a real treat to feel free,
Free as the speech I spiel thee,
Free as a bird in a steel tree,
Chirping cheerfully,
With a certain melody,
Essentially splurging a symphony,
Because urging a synergy,
With the emerging energy,
Is simply the greatest destiny,
There could ever be...

Peace of mind can mean different things to different people. Generally, it is considered to be a state of mental and emotional calmness, with no worries, fears or stress. In this state, the mind is quiet, allowing one to proceed harmoniously with a sense of happiness and freedom.
Being able to maximise the frequency of this state of being is one of the priceless secrets to life. You don’t think about it when you’ve got it but you certainly notice it when it’s gone.
Unfortunately, it can be taken at a moment’s notice and in some cases never to return again. The extreme influence of its presence should help explain why it’s always worth the effort required to attain it and protect it with all your might.
Do you regularly have peace of mind and do you know what to do to get it back when it’s gone? How we see the world ultimately determines our temperament and in turn our propensity for finding peace in the first place.
Once this internal tranquility has been acquired, if we can call it that, we will notice its influence over our external disposition. This particular energy directly manifests itself in the nature and types of our relationships we have with the world around us.
In short, by creating and maintaining peace in your inner world, in your mind, you will naturally bring it into your external surroundings, and perhaps more importantly into the lives of the people around you.
Where’s the tea remedy Jackson?
Because there’s no better feeling,
Than being stress free relaxing,
That’s the blessed me,
That gets to see ecstasy in action,
And if I can’t have that fun,
Then the next best bit to the nexus,
Is sitting on the settee,
With my bestie watching Netflix...

The first couple of lines taken from one of my favourite rhymes ‘Wise Mind Frame’, perhaps says it best. “Come along and see that life’s a dream, it’s never too late to become who you might have been...”
Being open to your own potential naturally leads to a willingness to push against your perceived limitations. In doing so, you traverse an epic path of realisation as you discover alternative versions of yourself, not just more of the same.
When viewed like this life can be awe-inspiring. It is a truly sensational state of mind when you realise your destiny is only limited by your imagination. A healthy mix of confidence and courage are needed to seize the moments when they come.
Disregarding all opinions other than your own can seem arrogant but who needs doubters when your riding a crest of a wave. Equally, it is just as unnecessary to surround yourself with yes people. It is always up to you where you end up in life so follow your heart and you will never lose your way.
I’m real blessed to say,
That I’m inspired every single day,
Even when it’s miserable and grey,
I feel elated,
That every time I create something okay,
I think WOW, I could be great,
This is the food that fuels the change,
Inside my looney brain,
And this is just the type of saying,
That keeps me in the moving game,
With a groovy lane mind-frame,
Just long enough to like pain,
Why wait?
Either way I’m saying,
It’s time to be REAL,
And keep it chill like an ice-age...

Accepting reality for what it is can be truly liberating, allowing us to overcome the tendency to resist change. Admittedly, our immediate environment can deeply effect our ability to do this.
The ongoing challenge of the mind is to remain resilient in the face of life, whether one is working frantically in a commercial centre or looking out with tranquility at an open expanse. The common denominator remains being able to let go.
When we resist life, we sense that it constantly pushes and pulls us from side to side. Whereas, when we go forth with the energy and flow of a given moment we are immediately well placed to be at peace.
Harmonising with our environment is perhaps the most natural and spiritually profound action we can take. Be it globally or individually, connectivity is the key because when we have it with the world we feel it in ourselves.
I’m truly a confused ape,
At the way these unruly days,
Seem plainly cruel and strange,
So much so that fools and saints,
Proclaim this world is all a play,
While pretending to halt a train,
In the face of falling rain,
Like their on track,
But beyond that,
Jack feels he ought to say,
That holding on to pain,
Is a nonsense game,
With nought to gain,
Why attack your awesome brain,
Prolonging the constant strain,
Slowly going insane,
When you can just grow with the pain,
Especially now that,
You know it will change...

Achieving your goals in life can depend on how well you manage to compress the time between the ‘Doings’, the time when things are happening and the ‘Non-Doings’, the period when nothing is happening.
It’s safe to say we all wish we could live a little longer. Whether to catch up on missed opportunities or simply revisit age old favourites. It is in this spirit of getting the most out of life, that I have experimented with different techniques designed to enhance productivity, maximising the limited time I have left.
I wanted to find a way of guaranteeing to the best of my ability the necessary output needed to achieve my goals. Working on them every day was a good start. However, to get to the next level I felt I needed to work on them every hour for at least 8 hours a day.
Now, pay attention there, I didn’t say work for 8 hours non-stop. That’s a tad unrealistic to say the least. I’m suggesting working on the hour every hour for say 15 minutes, sometimes less sometimes more, that’s not important. What is important is the regularity.
Through the continued repetition of this behaviour I am reprogramming my thinking towards the activity itself. No longer am I concerned with ‘getting on with it’,instead focusing on other concerns entirely as I naturalise the choice to continue doing exactly as I have been.
It isn’t a lie,
I’m in a state,
Living a life that I wish away,
On my way to a dinner date,
And I can’t possibly be late,
The dinners great,
But there’s a sinner in the way,
His name is Dwayne,
And he’s crashed his big S.K,
In the middle of the lane,
Now I’d hate to hit him in the face,
But I’m at the bus stop,
In a rush to crush clocks,
And what the heck for Hector?
Well Sir; let me tell ya,
Making a wage is a major skill,
But taking time to basically chill,
Is as prized as the paper,
That pays the bills...

When a person acts with conviction and in unison with their beliefs they have little or no internal conflict. This is because their outward attitude is shaped by a trust in their own instincts.
All this simply means we don’t need to check ourselves by thinking about the thinking. If it feels right it probably is right and vice versa.
There is no need to question this state of affairs. By its nature the universe around you has already refined the natural order of things with you being one of those orderly things.
When we come to trust our organisms ability to make decisions we no longer doubt ourselves on a fundamental level because instinct is the inkling in to the wisdom that knows best.
Here’s a toast to Eden,
But how can I be amenable,
I mean what are we to do,
When even the road to freedom,
Can lead to doom,
So many of our people,
On their knees surviving through,
The most unsightly views,
So hands up like it’s noon,
And get ready to be cuffed,
For the slightest move,
No freedom to speak of,
On the nightly news,
Just frightened youths,
That shine a light on lives abused,
By a mindless group,
That find it right,
To split your hive in two...

Life is full of little steps disguised as much bigger happening. When viewed one at a time, any series of tasks can be simplified into manageable chunks.
If you go onto agree with yourself ‘Never to refuse a little step...’ Then in this way you’re affirming that you’re always willing to give at least the minimum effort required.
When we learn to adapt we can achieve anything. With this principle in mind, if you go on to break up everything in your life into a series of little steps, then eventually anything becomes possible.
If for any reason your commitment is lacking or you simply forget to get up and on with it, don’t worry there will be another moment to seize coming along soon. The idea is not to stress since things are getting done without you even thinking about them.
Don’t be left in hell,
Like an elf on a shelf,
If you need help, Yelp!
In effect,
By fusing little steps,
We kill regret,
But still we get left at the start,
Hence it makes sense re-start,
Or at least press reset hard,
Whatever it takes to be smart,
Just don’t let the scars,
Mark your thinking,
Not even the slightest inkling,
Cos when it seems like your sinking,
And only hoping to swim,
Just know; by focusing on things,
Not only can you grow to win,
But you can do it over and over again...

Getting straight to the point, there are only so many moments you are going to live. After a certain amount, it’s over, in this realm at least. For this reason, it would be wise not to waste too much time thinking about the idea of making a decision.
Caught up in thinking about thinking rather than surrendering completely to the process of doing (which is also happening) is nothing more than a complete waste of time.
Your thoughts are important of course, they are the seeds that sow the rainforest you have yet to become. However, a tree does not need to know how it grows to grow to the best of its abilities.
Through this reasoning all moments are rendered equal (relatively speaking) as reality is always present and ready to teach those who are receptive to it.
The secret is to learn to let be while simultaneously being true to the different natures of your organism. Every instance becomes a chance to dance harmoniously within these most fleeting of existences.
It’s as true as time itself you see,
That I will always find myself in a selfie,
Not the ‘You’ self,
But the ‘True’ self that let’s us be,
I’ll let that recipe enter deep,
Before I press repeat,
You see; ever since Eve tried to be kind,
We’ve all essentially gleamed,
Into the evening sky,
And sensed it feeds the mind,
As we realise this life is speeding by,
A train full of fleeting sights,
Relentlessly seeding the wise,
One bean at a time,
Greetings Tykes,
Remember; every season excites,
As much as they leave in the night,
For this, reasoned have I,
This deep insight can lead to the light,
We need to spot the moments,
And stop the moaning,
Before the whole things over,
Don’t groan or cringe or ask me why,
Just jump on board,
Before the moment passes by...
