Some say our existence was His Plan,

Others maintain,

The gift was just a Big Bang,

Which one is true?

How should I know,

Either way the birth of the Universe,

Occurred a long time ago,

13.7 billion years or so,

Give or take some zeroes,

The first to appear,

Were quarks and neutrinos,

With the main attractions yet to come,

A tangled web was spun,

And thus the chain reaction had begun,

Long before the first stars and planets,

Were banded,

And the first meteors and comets,

Came to be before crash landing,

The path of space and time,

Was destined to keep expanding...

Great minds think alike,

However for some unknown reason,

Sometimes minds can think so great,

That their soul creates,

A light so bright everyone sees it,

For forever and a season,

From before the forgotten thinking,

Of Archimedes to Hawkins string theory,

All ideas have lasted the test of time,

Until improved upon by better minds...

The Alphabet is a crowd,

Of amazing characters,

Proud to pronounce their name aloud,

To carry us,

On a journey through,

Communication barriers,

At the speed of sound,

To help us seek the truth,

And speak about,

How we're free and found with speech,

That's how we teach the youth,

Profound beliefs,

Like trees around a reef,

That like to be just like you and me,

As they reach down inside a stream,

Seeking to be rooted,

To the ground beneath...
